Meetings

Fri | 6pm | Chaplaincy

Palmerston North Overseas Christian Fellowship

We are students from Malaysia, Singapore, Africa, India, China, New Zealand, Europe and a whole lot of places in between except Antarctica. We come from all over the world, but our love for the Lord Jesus Christ is central to all of us.

How would you describe PNOCF?

A welcoming family! Like in any family everyone is at various ages and stages. We have regular members who are not Christians and appreciate the warmth of welcome, the consistency of the food (it’s always good) and the opportunity to explore issues of faith and Kiwi life. Other members have come to faith in New Zealand and others became Christians in their home country.

When and where do you meet?

We meet at the Massey University Chaplaincy on Colombo Road (this is the main road into the centre of the campus) across from Colombo Hall at Massey University. We meet on Friday nights from 6pm.

What to expect when you come?

A great meal. The more structured part of the evening starts at 7pm with games and singing. We usually have a Bible study led by students. We break up into small groups who meet in various rooms in the Chaplaincy building. We’ll come back together for a brief talk and dessert. Everyone dresses casually.

What do you do?

We meet as a large group on Friday nights. We also meet as small groups on Friday and during the week. We seek to see the gospel at the heart of the university through outreach to our halls, friends and departments.
