“You do it!” were the words I heard from the Lord in 1992. I was at the altar crying out to God to send someone to my university to do a Bible study and support us as students. As a relatively new Christian, I was hungry for God and saw a great need. The Lord called me to meet that need.

All these years later, that ministry is still thriving. That was the beginning of what I found to be a call to ministry, missions and the university. Since then I have worked with university students and young adults in the US, Venezuela, Spain and New Zealand. In 1998 I went into full-time vocational ministry and in 2000 began working in missions. As a missionary, I first went to Venezuela, pioneering a university group for a local church, and then to Spain between 2001-2011 working in Madrid and Sevilla with Students For Christ. At that time I also completed my credentials as a minister.

In 2011 I married a Kiwi widower with four children who ranged in age from 6 to 16. At that time I left the ministry, moved to New Zealand and took on the new ministry role of wife and mother. Now that the two older children have left home and the youngest is in high school I am sensing from the Lord that it is time to get back into vocational ministry. I have been involved in mentoring students from Capernwray Bible School, and through a variety of means God opened up a door for me to work with TSCF at the University of Waikato.

My passion is to see students come to Christ, grow in the Lord and fulfill the call He has on their futures.
