Welcome to EU - we hope you're able to join our community on campus in the heart of Auckland.
We are a student-led club at the University of Auckland; we're drawn from a wide range of backgrounds and committed to living out an integrated life in light of the gospel. The Evangelical Union has been active for over 70 years; this gives us, we think, credibility and a valuable sense of history and plenty of things from which to learn. We're interested in people over programmes and love to work with others who love Jesus, including local churches and other Christian groups on campus.
Plans for the rest of the year include weekly Bible studies, a range of Faculty-specific events, social activities, organising 'Jesus Week' with other Christian groups, service on campus and beyond and participating in TSCF conferences and our annual retreat.
Bible study times for first semester are Tues 1-2 and Thurs 1-2 (in Arts 1 seminar rooms 210 and 216). We also have regular social events like movie nights and day hikes and join in with fun things other groups are doing on occasion. If you can't make those Bible-discussion slots, get in touch anyway, there will be something coming up! The EU community wants to be salt and light on our campus and we'd love for you to come and see what we're about.
