Penny Keast

Lincoln Associate Staff

Greetings! My name is Penny, and I am blessed to be a part of the TSCF team in Lincoln.

I’m a Kiwi, born in Holland to Kiwi parents and have spent around half my life overseas. I have called Dunedin home since attending university alongside TSCF staff Simon Sim.

While raised in a Christian home, I struggled at university to accept God’s sovereignty over my life. I rededicated myself to God after my first two years of university and have since sought to serve Him and His people wherever I find myself. I attended Bible College in NZ, the United States and Hungary and there I discovered my passion for teaching and discipleship.

In my spare time I love to engage with stories and art. I write fiction, play instruments and video games, watch movies, and paint anything that won’t run away!

I love Russia, and I was an English teacher there for just under a year before Covid and closed borders prevented me from continuing there. My dream is to return, but until the Lord opens the doors there, I am enjoying the opportunities He has presented me with here in NZ. I lived at the Harbour Light Base, the intentional student community in Dunedin, and now I’m in Lincoln helping to share the Bible and the gospel with the students on campus and in The Well, the new intentional student community right opposite Lincoln University.
