Geoff Robson

Canterbury Staff Worker

I had the privilege of growing up in a churchgoing family, where I learned about God’s grace from a young age. But it wasn’t until the age of 21 that I grasped that message for myself and became a committed follower of Jesus Christ. Today, I’m the husband of one wife (Liz) and the father of four children (Johanna, Will, Tom and Zoë).

I was born and bred in Sydney, but we moved across the ditch in 2010 and now love calling Aotearoa home. I’ve pastored churches in Sydney and Christchurch and I now have the joy of working with students at the University of Canterbury, where my job is to teach the Bible to students, introduce people to Jesus, and develop student leaders and initiatives. You might want to check out this short book I wrote to help introduce people to the Bible. If you care about this kind of thing, I love cooking, the Chicago Bulls, writing, The West Wing, and my Kindle.
