Varsity Christian Fellowship (VCF) is one of the TSCF groups at Otago University.
University is a fantastic time to explore who you are as a person, to try new things, make new friends and have heaps of new experiences. While you’re at uni you’ll probably make lots of decisions about who you are as a person, what your values are and what you believe.
If you’re a Christian, VCF is a community you are very welcome to be a part of. We study the Bible together and think about how it applies to our lives, we support one another, we enjoy hanging out together and we work as a team to give students at our university the opportunity to hear more about Jesus.
But VCF isn’t just for Christians – it's a great place to consider the claims of Jesus, to think about what the Bible says about the meaning of life and to ask questions about what Christians believe. It's a community where you’ll meet lots of interesting people, make good friends and have fun times along the way.
VCF meets at 7:30pm on Monday evenings in the Otago Room, Clubs and Socs building.

We anticipate more than 200 participants for SPaRC (5-9 April). Please pray for a minimum of 30 from NZ to come. We would like to have one student from each TSCF group in NZ.

OTVCF: In planning our events,
For both VCF and OCF, pray that strong relationships will be developed and the caring sense of community will draw more students into Christ Jesus’ love.

SPaRC: Funds & Diverse Representation
Pray for needed funds for all who attend. Also, PNG and Australia are hoping to send a good number. Pray for a diverse representation including Tonga, Vanuatu and even Samoa.

OTVCF: Dynamic & Contagious 2012 Vision
We aim to fully integrate the four values of TSCF: True Witness, Undivided Life, Deep Thought and Global Reach; pray that God will challenge us to grow in these values.
