Giving Financially

People give in a variety of different ways. Some use Internet Banking facilities, others set up Automatic Payments. Some people send cheques to the TSCF office (PO Box 9672, Marion Square, Wellington 6030), often after receiving our quarterly Canvas magazine, or a in response to a special Quarterly or Annual Reminder. If you wish to receive a quarterly or annual reminder please email us.

Donors in the UK can now also make tax-deductible donations through the Pacific Partnership Trust and request that the donations go to TSCF.

Opportunities to support National and Field Staff

National staff and all field staff are funded through personal support donations. For nearly all, this means 100% of their salary and expenses must be raised as support. While the salaries received by staff are modest in light of what they do, the support required is nonetheless very significant. Many of TSCF's supporters choose to designate their giving for the support of particular staff. TSCF can provide you with a list of staff and an indication of where need lies.

Designated Projects

Specific projects account for a large part of our expenditure. CANVAS, TSCF's quarterly magazine costs around $15,000 a year. The website you're browsing now, and the technology that drives it, costs several thousand. Major events during the year are self-funding, yet increasing costs lay a burden on prospective delegates that designated giving could alleviate. Likewise, the Graduate Internship Scheme is self-funded - but targeted assistance would increase the reach and impact of the Scheme.

If you would like to give toward a specific aspect of the ministry, we can give you more information.

The 700

The 700 is an invitation for you to take part in our 70th Anniversary thank offering. We are inviting 10 people from each year of TSCF’s life to become a member of the 700 by giving an offering of $1000 to lay a significant foundation for the future. You don’t have to give in a lump sum you can pledge and give in installments. (Click here to learn more about the opportunity to join the 700.)

One Life (For recent graduates)

“If you are a recent graduate we want to invite you to join One Life. What is it? “One Life is graduates like you and me giving 1% of our income for 5-10 years  to see the gospel at the heart of NZ and NZ at the heart of world mission through TSCF.” Erin Robinson. (Click here to learn more about the opportunity to be a One Lifer)

General Fund

We need people to give toward our General Fund. It’s not a glamorous destination! But it’s the General Fund that pays for the nuts and bolts of the Fellowship. Office staff salaries are paid from here, along with printing and stationery costs, small events of various kinds, etc. You name it, the General Fund is involved. Strange as it may seem, the ongoing health of General Fund Donations is the measure of support for the Fellowship as a whole.

We welcome comments, requests and suggestions in this area. Simply email us. We appreciate all of your support.
