Summit 24: Meeting Jesus in Mark’s Gospel

Summit '22 Conference

Summit is back in Queenstown! Whether you’ve known Jesus for ages or you’re still not sure what to make of him, join us as we see how Mark’s gospel reveals him and what a difference he makes to life as a student today. Expect to be surprised and delighted by Jesus through Bible talks and workshops that will equip you to introduce Jesus to others.

What is Summit?

Every year students from TSCF groups across Aotearoa New Zealand gather for fun, food and fellowship. It’s a great opportunity to take a break from study, meet new and old friends, and grow in your faith.

Alongside the main talks which dig into the Bible, there’ll be a range of workshops to help you go deeper and time in small groups to process together what you’re learning. Of course, there’ll also be lots of free time to chill, play some sport, or get competitive with board games or table tennis. And since we’ll be in Queenstown, why not go see the snow?!

When and Where?

We’re heading to Queenstown at the lovely Lakeland Park, from 30 June – 4 July.

Flying

If you’re winging your way down, please ensure your flight arrives at Queenstown Airport by 2:30pm on Sunday 30 June and departs no earlier than 1:30pm on Thursday 4 July. Please let us know when your flights are using the form at www.tscf.org.nz/pickup so we can arrange shuttles for you.
You’ll need to bring all your bedding with you so make sure to book a bag with your flight!

Driving

If driving, please be onsite by 3:30pm on Sunday 30 June and plan to leave no earlier than 12pm on Thursday 4 July. The address is Lakeland Park, 496 Peninsula Road, Kelvin Heights, Queenstown

Register

Along with four night’s accommodation, your rego fee covers all the great food and snacks you’ll be eating, plus all conference materials. Because travel can be a significant cost, the conference fees are structured to reduce the cost for students travelling from further away or more expensive air travel routes.

Bay of Plenty / Waikato / Palmerston North: $255
Wellington / Auckland: $275
South Island: $295

Scholarships

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have a number of scholarships available for students who cannot afford the registration or travel costs associated with attending Summit. Once you’ve registered for conference, please discuss your situation with your local TSCF staff worker and then click here to apply: https://www.tscf.org.nz/summit-scholarship

We’ll be in touch as soon as possible with the outcome of your application.
