Tim Hodge

Lincoln and Nelson Team Leader

Personal Profile

Tim’s (aka Mothy) first TSCF experience was as a graduate volunteer trainee in Christchurch a few years ago, as a forerunner of today’s Minty. After a few years working in the commercial IT world, he returned to TSCF longer term, along with Lizzy his wife, in late 2004. Tim loves being involved with students explaining about Jesus from the Bible. He also loves windsurfing in summer, skiing in winter and watching cricket at anytime of year. Based at Lincoln Uni, with the NZ Cricket High Performance centre is a joy, although watching the Black Caps is often painful. In addition to working with students, Tim and Lizzy have an eclectic mix of interests – from Lizzy’s crochet and bluegrass music to Tim’s windsurfing, skiing, watching cricket and some geocaching. They’re a lovely, if slightly eccentric couple, augmented since 2009 by a wee son and daughter.

Role Profile

Tim works as the Lincoln and Nelson Team Leader for TSCF. He's really pleased to be able to partner with students as they proclaim Jesus in word and deed on their campuses.

Christchurch earthquake

Please continue to pray for courage, faith and hope in this tragedy, and that people are turned toward, not away from God.
