Gillian Wildgoose is originally from Edinburgh, Scotland and came to New Zealand in January 2008 to work with the Auckland team. She studied in St Andrews, a degree in Classical Studies and Philosophy, and it was here she first became involved in mission on campus. She had the opportunity to be part of a mission trip to New Zealand back in 2005 which gave her an increased awareness of the opportunities over the other side of the world. After her degree she continued her involvement in student ministry with an internship with UCCF in the UK. She is really enjoying sharing the gospel in a different context and getting used to the Kiwi way of life – although she has found coming from snow to sun a little difficult! Gillian enjoys music, pub quizzes and is a passionate rugby supporter – although her colours are yet to turn from blue to black!
Gillian works as a regional staff worker in and around Auckland. She works alongside groups at AUT, Unitec and Auckland Uni and is excited to see God's continuing transformation in the lives of students on campuses in the city!

Pray for all who were part of this mission trip as they return to familiar life in NZ, that God will impart a vision for how their own education can be used for His kingdom.
