IFES Evangelists Conference

For many people, spending time in a room full of evangelists would fill them with great fear! However, for me, it was a real joy sharing time at a recent IFES conference for emerging evangelists held in Austria. The conference stems from a desire to a develop a network of those involved in University evangelistic work around Europe, but also around the IFES world. The sessions were taken by a number of evangelists, including Rev Michael Green who has been involved in University missions here in NZ. Almost 80 evangelists gathered from mainly around Europe, but also from Eurasia and North America. The highlight of the conference for me was the many conversations trying to understand, encourage and equip each other in our varied missions contexts. We are being challenged to see if a similar event could take place on our side of the world!
