How would you describe a dynamic, loving, somewhat insane group of 40 students who love the Lord Jesus and want to make him known on campus? I know, dynamic, loving and somewhat insane. Yep, that’s MUCF.
How would you describe MUCF?
MUCF is a community of students committed to following Jesus in the company of friends. Following Christ on campus and expressing his gospel in tutorials and assignments and amongst classmates is best done in the company friends.
When and where do you meet?
We meet on Friday nights @ 6:45pm during term time in the Massey University Student Association lounge (Next to the food hall on concourse)
What should I expect if I came along?
Friday nights begin with an informal dinner and generally finish with dessert. We often start with a game and some singing. These can be followed by, interviews, discussion and a bible talk from an invited speaker. We may break into small groups to pray for one another or hear about a particular outreach from a student. The formal part of the evening finishes about 9:00pm After the formal part of the evening finishes then expect then unexpected.
What do you do?
We meet as a large group on Friday nights. We meet as small groups on Friday nights and during the week. We seek to see the gospel at the heart of the university through various outreaches amongst our halls, friends and departments.
