TSCF Core Values
TSCF Core Values are intended to convey what TSCF is on about as an organisation. They are supplementary to the TSCF Mission Statement, Aims, and Basis of Belief.
We believe reconciliation to be the heart of God: Reconciliation between God and humanity Reconciliation of people to each other Reconciliation between people and creation We believe students best reach other students for Christ:
- By incarnating Christ in the community of faith on campus
- By proclaiming the gospel of Christ on campus As a student-led movement we seek to equip and develop students as leaders for Christian mission and service on campus and beyond. Students have the initiative and creativity necessary for campus mission
- We work towards the maturity in Christ of the whole person while on campus and beyond. Maturity encompasses Bible knowledge, transformation of the mind, vocational transformation, social concern, and personal morality and lifestyle…
- We recognise diversity within the tertiary student community and therefore affirm a contextualised approach to ministry.
- We are not confined to a single structure. We always seek to be relevant to our cultural contexts (multiethnic, multicultural).
- We believe students are in partnership with others in campus mission Others include staff, volunteers GIs, advisors, churches, student ministries, mission organizations, and chaplains…
- Campus mission includes reaching students, lecturers and all tertiary staff We seek to foster community and intercultural bridge-building among Christian students on campus across ethnicity, gender and denomination
